The actor plays a wheelchair bound paraplegic in the film that stars Aishwarya Rai as female lead. And to slip under the skin of his character, Hrithik has got himself a wheelchair and keeps practicing on it at home. It’s apparent that being a method actor, Hrithik wants to look convincing playing a half paralyzed man in a wheelchair.
The actor is also reported to be doing reading on paraplegia to understand his character better. He’s also reported to be watching the videos of paraplegics to understand their behaviour and mannerisms.
Rumour has it that ‘Guzaarish’ has Ash playing a nurse who falls in love with Hrithik’s wheelchair bound character. But he doesn’t want to live the life of a paralyzed man. So he requests her to help him kill himself through euthanasia.
